Gvozd' — Restaurant in Minsk

Service is so not okay (if checking against almost any European place) that I was even surprised. The waiter either was standing with us all the time or not showing up for long time. All the dishes were served in different time so we had to wait to eat together (why not ask how we want them to be served?). When the waiter came back for the feedback how the dishes were - and we honestly marked all the things to be improved - she got all confused and upset and couldn't handle the situation. In order to get wifi you also need to have the phone number to get the sms. As we had some people from the USA - it was an interesting task. Won't go there...

I liked the food, I mostly liked the interior. Selection of drinks was halfway between mainstream and craft.

Prices were higher than average for Minsk but still felt cheap by European standards.

Thinking why it ended up being a four-star place for me I can only point my finger at the service. Call me picky but I really feel it when the staff behaves like I am not their favourite kind of customer. I don't know, not dressed smart enough or not ordering their most expensive stakes... I like to be liked and made welcomed and comfortable regardless, and, sadly, I didn't feel that...

Так себе заведение, средней руки. Если тут в отзывах некоторые пишут, что это одно из самых лучших заведений в Минске, то я хочу спросить: неужели в Минске все так плохо с общепитом? Лабухи играют музыку всего два часа и, наверное, думают, что громко играть и громко вопить в микрофон - это очень хорошо и профессионально. И большая просьба к лабухам - выучить нормально тексты песен, а то всякие отсебяшные версии известных текстов повергают в печаль. Ну и желательно определиться с репертуаром, петь сначала "Группу крови" Цоя, а после этого какую-то поп-музыку с латинскими ритмами - ну это же нелепо, ребята, вы выглядите как Надя Кадышева, поющая "Мы ждем перемен". Ну а так ничего, заведение более-менее, выбор пива достаточно большой - и хорошего пива хватает, и плохого много. Персонал вроде нормальный, еда ничего, но такого, чтоб - ах! - мне кажется, нет. Но вообще заведение...
