The place itself is beautiful, with an amazing view, good food. Unfortunately, our entire experience was ruined by one particular staff member who took our order and also worked at the cashier. He was a tall man with curly hair (shoulder length).
From the beginning, his attitude was very rude and dismissive toward us. My husband has a serious allergy to all meats except chicken, so he politely asked if there was any spaghetti with chicken. Instead of simply answering kindly, the waiter rudely said, “No chicken, no chicken.” My husband then ordered a steak for me and a Margherita pizza for himself. However, when the food arrived, they also brought us a bowl of spaghetti we never ordered.
When we explained that we did not order spaghetti (and also could not eat it due to allergies), the waiter started raising his voice, insisting that he knew what we had ordered, and continued speaking to us in a disrespectful way. This not only created confusion but also destroyed the atmosphere of what should have been a lovely dinner. We felt embarrassed and upset, as if we had done something wrong just by asking for the food we could eat. In the end, we packed our food and left to eat at our hotel because our mood was completely ruined.
We have never experienced this kind of treatment either in Europe or Asia, which made it even more shocking and disappointing. I understand mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but what truly upset us was the lack of respect and basic courtesy. A good waiter should confirm orders politely if there is any doubt, instead of making the guests feel uncomfortable. My advice to this staff member: please treat customers with respect ,it is the most essential quality for anyone working in hospitality.
This was sadly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had, despite being in a beautiful place with...
Read moreDefinitely the usual turist trap - can't believe it has a 4.3 review, the food was definitely not there by far.
Once inside it really struck us how high the prices were and we definitely expected at least fresh ingredients given how close we are to the sea.
Instead the mix fried fish was the most sad and frozen one I've ever had at a restaurant - you cannot possibly charge 30+ euros for 5/6 frozen calamari, 5/6 fried frozen mussels, 5/6 frozen tempura shrimps, 1 and, I say just 1 grilled shrimp that was definitely not fresh and was absolutely chewy and overcooked - it's a shame!
We then also shared two different types of Moules which were good, nothing special but still way better than the mixed fried fish. We took the classic one and the Chef's recommendation - supposedly with shrimps. To my not so big surprise there was only 1 single sad shrimp for which we paid basically 25% more in respect to the Classic Moules which cost 28€ - still slightly above the average and overall too much filled with vegetables.
Lastly, the draft Stella Artois was definitely watered down...
I am not giving 1 star because of the Moules but still, either lower the prices, raise the quality and freshness of the ingredients, especially the fish or create a menu because that is not...
Read moreNever going there again! We came in as one of the last customers. It was my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. 20 minutes before closing time, can you believe the waiter BLEW OUT our candle on our table during the MIDDLE OF OUR MEAL in front of our faces, who in the right mind does that? All the smoke from the candle went into our food and faces! Shameless, and showing how little they care and the disrespect was out of this world. Just because they were close to closing?
When complaining, the owner was nonchalant and they tried saying sorry by offering two mini shots of random alcohol.
These people don’t deserve your money, stay away during last hour of service. They begin to pick up everything even trash as last customers are eating as a way of getting rid of you. Disgusting! Even if you are still eating, they start taking salt and pepper away, your candle, without FINISHING YOUR FOOD?????????
HORRIBLE SERVICE AND...
