Read moreDuring our few days in Belgium, we came here to eat because we are big fans of steaks. Everywhere we go, we look for a steakhouse to try the best meat. Looking at this restaurant: A fantastic, charming place! It’s not very big, so they can't accommodate many people, and you sit a bit closer to other tables. You can make a reservation by phone, or just walk in and ask if they have a spot available. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s in the middle of the city, but the central station is nearby.
For the starter, we had three types of croquettes (€25): Cheese Black Angus Shrimp And these came with pieces of toast. They’re somewhat comparable in size to a standard Mora croquette. We chose this as a “shared” starter, but it’s not recommended for two people as the portion is quite small.
For the main course, I had the filet mignon Belgian Blue White (€28.50 for 250g), and the taste of this steak was truly amazing. It was actually served quite simply with fries, but the meat itself had an incredible flavor! Really top-notch. The prices of the steaks are fairly standard! Starters are a bit more expensive and smaller in portion size.
The service was excellent, with very friendly staff. Super cheerful and they frequently checked if everything was to our satisfaction and if we needed more drinks.
If I ever return to Antwerp, I will definitely...
Read moreDecided to try this place due to its awesome ratings on TripAdvisor. Even though arriving at 21.30 they still allowed me to grab a table. Relatively small menu but if you go here for a steak, you'll have enough to choose from. Friendly staff, fast service. Would be nice to see a bit larger variety of beers on the menu. Especially the meat was delicious. Chose the chef favorite Angus beef. Nice and juicy. Nice that they add some healthy veggies to the plate which actually taste quite well. Angus croquet starter I would rather call a nice lunch dish than a typical starter. It was okay but nothing too special and again as a starter for dinner was a bit odd. Nice free fast WiFi without hassle. Unfortunately American Express is not accepted. Visa is however. I spent 50 euro for the Angus croquet starter (about 14 euro), Angus beef main (24.50 euro), two beers, mayonnaise (50 cents) and a nice pepper sauce (3 euros). Location is smack in the middle of the tourist area. Can recommend it if being a...
