Dining at Mission Masala was an unforgettable culinary journey, marked by a symphony of flavors that danced across our palates with each bite. The menu, featuring highlights such as bbq mushroom moilee, boom ting butter, richly spiced daal, tangy tamarind soda, beets and innovative poori bombs, offered a feast that was nothing short of mind-blowing. The daal, in particular, stood out for its depth and complexity of flavors, showcasing the chef's mastery over traditional spices.

The dessert course was a revelation, with the rice pudding and tea presenting a delightful conclusion to our meal, taking us to new heights of gastronomic delight. The tamarind margaritas, a creative twist on a classic cocktail, were brimming with vibrant flavors, making them a perfect accompaniment to the meal.

Our dining experience was greatly enhanced by the exceptional service, especially from Miguel, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. His friendliness and attentiveness added a special touch to our visit at Mission Masala.

Kudos to the chef for crafting such an exquisite menu and to the entire team at Mission Masala for providing an exceptional dining experience that we will fondly remember. It's clear that passion and expertise are at the heart of this establishment, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking to indulge in the rich tapestry of...

I’m a Level-7 Local Guide, so please read my review in full and don’t forget to like 🤗❤️

Updated review on 08/08/2024:

This was my 3rd visit to Mission Masala (2nd one in Antwerp restaurant).

Degrading food quality - The food quality has decreased over time. Being Indian myself, I make gobi starters and poori bomb (yogurt based) myself at home. 😭

Details of dishes ordered - Unfortunately, Gobi was undercooked from inside and poori bomb did not go according to the recipe as it lacked yogurt and was very dry (the recipe explains yogurt to be full and puris crispy with a bit of sweet and sour mix). 😒

Feedback - My wife is pregnant so I didn't express much disappointment in front of her on the table, however, left a feedback to your manager who was kind enough to take it constructively and welcomed us back in coming times😞

Recommendations - I'm a bit skeptical about my 4th visit to Mission Masala and may only look for an exceptional reason to visit again.🥸

Vibrant and delicious food, unbelievably kind staff, extremely cozy place. If you're in for a food journey to heaven, this is the place!

Some of the dishes are spicy but definitely not all, staff is very open and easy to approach for questions.

They have a nice variety of (amazing) dishes and some pre made menus (5-6 dishes) which bang for their buck! Every item is insanely flavourful and super tasty (they had a 12h roasted Iberico rib and damn, best rib in town!). Presentation is spot on!

The shared food concept is enhanced by the very sweet staff and an amazing atmosphere. It is best described as coming home and having a dinner with a bunch of siblings you never met before.

The establishment is on the small side, but that only adds to the cozyness. Everyone has space enough to place their dishes and sit comfortably.

They serve some very nice looking cocktails aswell, which are carefully made and are enhanced with complementary shots, fresh toasted herbs and other amazing refinements.

This place is absolutely perfect. Highly...

I pass by here daily, almost. Have visited many times and I can attest for the consequent level of quality. Likewise for the ghost kitchen they host, which I order from time to time. It never disappoints! A special note has to be made for their packaging, branding and interior decorating. I feel like everything here is just so spot on. They set out to create a space worthy of the name, and everything works, is functional and adds to the experience. For the food: I can’t find anything to complain about. It’s not cheap, contrary to the look and the idea however I never think it’s not worth it. The service too is fun, friendly and well trained & flexible (in Antwerp- I haven’t been to their other venues). I deducted one star for atmosphere because as it is a small indoor space, if you’re seated with two, the other tables are extremely close - as are their conversations. We were seated next to a couple on a first date which made it hard to concentrate on our own convo sometimes. But it was a fun added twist haha.
