Zuiderpershuis — Attraction in Antwerp

Pretty bad event management. The audience was let in the bar in the front, but not the main room until it was almost time for the event to start. That caused everyone to form an absurd queue around the bar, where you could neither enjoy a drink because of the crowds, nor find the end of the line easily (at some point there were multiple lines). Went to see Josh Johnson Flowers Tour, which was great! Nice place, only downside was that due to the small size of the waiting area by the bar, there was no seating - you were standing waiting to be let into the main venue. I appreciate this is so as to max out capacity, but because the ticket was not connected to a seat number, if you wanted a good seat you had to get there early and stand for over an hour.. other than that,...

Very nice usage of an old building, protected monument Zuiderpershuis which functioned from 1883 until 1977 as a power plant for the haven such as cranes and bridges.

There is a bar which I think is only open when there is a concert of performance.

The main performance hall looks very authentic still with the brick walls. Definitely would come back here for nice performances...
