Nora Indian — Restaurant in Antwerp

Treated me very unwelcoming. Came solo from another city for the restaurant,

food looked nice on peoples tables and I asked a take away indian milk tea from the menu, standing akwardly and unnoticed at the desk.

He didnt gave me eye contact. Ignored me until I went politely to the desk.

Asked for indian milk tea as a young person, he straight sent me away without a drink or food and without even a sorry!

Answered on my order request to not come alone and wouldnt serve me because I came solo! Only income for him is in group he thinks! He gave Indizn milk teas all over the take away delivery people and not to a physical client.

I rarely leave a bad comment regarding the restaurants that i attend because i know how frustrating and harmful it can be for the owner. However i have to say that i’m a huge fan of Indian food and have tried dozen of Indian restaurants and the Chiken Tika Masala in this one was really bad which was really surprising given the number of good reviews!

If you are used to eat aromatic rice with a mix of sweet and spicy Tika Masala this is definitely not the place to go (according to my subjective view). If you depart from Dageraadplaats, it's just a quick 5 minute walk to Nora Indian which makes it a perfect place to start your night out with a good dinner. The food is so tasteful. There is a good variety of vegetarian dishes to choose from too so this place is honestly a go to with whatever group of people you are with.
