Orso — Restaurant in Antwerp

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and it was a place I used to like. However yesterday the service was absolutely below par. The restaurant was only half full, but it felt like a money making machine. I asked for tap water with our 0,5L of mediocre red wine, upon which we received a chilled bottle of what was presumably tap water. Cost us €5,50(!) for 0,5L of water. This place does not offer the kind of service and food to ask that price for water. No shame 😂. When I wanted to pay there was no one to assist me so I had to go and get a staff member upstairs myself. Eventually the cook (!) helped me. Weird. Truly one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been. They have some classics and a couple really interesting flavour combinations on the menu, but whatever you choose, you’ll love it. Even their dough is incredibly light and tasty. They also serve some great natural wines if you like that sort of thing. The place is cozy and can get a little cramped sometimes, but to me that just adds to the authentic vibe. Nice atmosphere and good food. I've been to this place twice already .I enjoy its vibe. The pizzas are thin crust . I tried the carpaccio ,which in my opinion was too salty. My friends had the buffalina and magic mushroom and were both happy with their choices. The waiter forgot that my friend ordered a pizza to go. Luckily we had some slices left that she could take home to her kid for dinner. That was a bit disappointing,he could've placed the order and told the kitchen to start 30mins...
