We were in Brugge for a couple of days and, after a long day of walking, we decided to stop by this restaurant — mainly because it was close to our Airbnb and had received some “good” reviews.
To start on a positive note: the staff were very friendly and gave us a table right away, which we really appreciated.
That said, the food was, in one word, terrible. We ordered a pasta Bolognese and a pizza Mozzarella — two classic dishes you’d expect to be fairly standard and safe choices. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

We only ate a few bites of each dish before giving up. There was simply no flavor, no care, and no enjoyment in the food. It’s a shame, because the service was welcoming, but the kitchen seriously needs a rethink.
And then, something very unusual happened: the young man who came to clear our plates took them to the kitchen, and just a few moments later came back out — holding what was clearly the same pizza we had barely touched. He then sat down at the bar and started eating it. While we’re absolutely against wasting food, we found this not only strange but also quite unprofessional. It’s not something you expect to witness in a...

Our visit to Parazzar was an absolute highlight of our trip to Bruges! We initially planned to stop for just a meal and one drink, but the incredible experience kept us there for the entire evening – it was simply too good to leave!
