What a diamond in the rough! Though unassuming from the outside, this place is replete with charm once you amble indoors. The atmosphere is both cosy and classical and the welcome couldn't have been warmer. A young lady with round glasses (I didn't catch her name) greeted us at the door as we stumbled in, soaked to the skin from the pouring rain. She was kind, helpful and even offered us serviettes to dry off our glasses as we got our bearings and scanned through the menu. Having already eaten beforehand, we only ordered beers and chips on this occasion, but the fare on offer looked quite delicious and was served at a very reasonable price indeed. The owner is a fantastic young woman and her team is friendly, funny and authentic. They really care about the customers and deploy huge amounts of kindness to make you feel good there.

Unpretentious but delicious food. Great choice of beer at the tap.

J’étais de passage à la Foire du Midi quand mon regard a été attiré par les assiettes appétissantes de quelques personnes assises en terrasse, devant un petit café d’angle. Curieuse, je suis entrée sur un coup de tête… et quelle bonne surprise !

Nous avons commandé le mezze, les gambas grillées et les croquettes au fromage de « chez Philip ( je sais pas qui c’est mais c’était trop bon) : tout était absolument délicieux. Des produits frais, des plats préparés à la minute, une cuisine grecque savoureuse . L’accueil est chaleureux, simple et convivial. Le lieu a gardé son charme d’antan, avec une déco vintage pleine de caractère.

J’habite le quartier depuis des années, et pourtant je n’étais jamais entrée ici… Quelle découverte ! Je reviendrai, c’est certain. Merci pour ce moment, je recommande vraiment ce lieu — même si, entre nous… on aurait presque envie de le...
