It will be a little emotional. A bad thing I want to mention: service staff is pushing to eat faster and leave faster, our service man said it directly to us at the end ( really? In restaurant you behave like in fast food?). They will come every 5 minutes to disturb you and trying to hurry you up from the beginning ( he tried to convince us to order fast because otherwise order line would be too big, but it wasn't true as we saw after). Please stop it, you are not MacDonalds, we payed 120 Euros for the evening, isn't it enough for you to respect our privacy and create a calm nice evening...( Well in good places they serve you well no matter how much you pay). Also it was unfair for us, because there were people around sitting and reading newspapers and no one disturbed them, why we are worse... So this was a thing irritating us the whole evening. Otherwise my best compliments to chef: it was delicious! One of the best italien food in Brussels. Interior is also amazing. That is why I put...

The tough guy attitude from the Neolithic Age can be observed on some waiters. If you don't like your job anymore, you could try to change it or get retired basically. They should learn some hospitality features from their Albanian colleague Eni. I'm giving these 3 stars for the sake of her.

Just to clarify what has happened... We wanted to change 20 euros in order to give some tips to Eni. When I asked for the change, the gentleman made a "how dare you are asking this" face and completely ignored my request. Calm down Mr. Obsolete! I just wanted to change 20 euros. Why would you act like I insulted to your ancestors?

These tough(!) guys are representing Italian community terribly. They lack the fundamentals of hospitality that Italian people are normally proud to have. Even a risotto has better communication skills than them.

Besides this vibe killer incident, the food and the service were good. They also had great atmosphere...

One of my favourite dishes is pasta alla Norma, original from Sicily. It is a dish I sometimes cook at home following the original recipe and it was always a big hit. I tried it at La Brace and it was well below my expectations. The sauce was almost as if poured on the plate directly from the can, the eggplant was underfried and there was no trace of salted ricotta. Thank god for the paccheri were cooked al dente cause otherwise it could have been impossible to eat. Nevertheless, I don't want to create the impression that La Brace serves only bad dishes. My friends ordered other dishes and were very happy with their choices, so just please avoid pasta alla Norma and you'll...

Terrible pizza. Raw and soggy, and if you try to ask for a new one you get laughted at, quite literally. The waiter that I unfortunately got didn't speak any language other than Italian, and refused to even care for my opinion. When you are in the business of attending to people you should at least try to reach a common ground. The waiter also keep mocking me because I "think with my phone not with my head" whatever that means. And as he passed by he would smirk if I was on my phone, which I happened to be as I couldn't eat that garbage or get a new one. Terrible service but most of it, terrible pizza made by Italians - a crime on itself

Samedi, 13h45...
