For me Berlaymont Brasserie is not just a dining spot or a restaurant on the corner in the EU neighbourhood - it’s my headquarters, my comfort zone, and the place where I always bring my friends when I want them to feel at home.

From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality from the owner Yanni to Michali, Ionuţ, and the rest of the staff. All of them are incredibly friendly, making sure that every visit is a delightful experience. The service is fast and impeccable, and you can always count on being well taken care of. Whether I come alone or with company, I know I’ll be surrounded by kindness, great energy, and a sense of belonging.

If you’re looking for a place where you’re not just a guest but part of the family, this is the place to be. A hidden gem where warmth, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere make every visit special.

Food in this place was actually pretty good, good beer.

Service was awful. We had one waitress who got bored with us pretty quickly and started ignoring us. We asked if we could move table to see TdF coverage and she said we could, but a very angry waiter seemed to take this as an insult (or perhaps thought we were trying to steal cutlery) and basically asked what we thought we were doing.

After our first waitress gave up, we asked her for a menu and she ignored us. We asked a waiter instead and he came over and grumpily took our order. He actually started walking off as we were ordering! There were four of us, including a small child, he took two orders and then tried to march off.

It wasn't massively busy in there. It was busy, but I counted about 6 waiting staff, and there were still free tables.

Go here if you know it's going to be pretty empty, nice food and good beer choice....

We had a reservation at this restaurant, but when we arrived, they couldn’t give us a table because someone failed to properly record our booking. Instead of having our name in the system, they only had a phone number, which apparently wasn’t enough to secure our table. Rather than offering any real solution, they simply gave us some half-hearted apologies and sent us away. No alternative, no compensation, just a complete disregard for the inconvenience they caused. We planned our evening around this reservation, only to be turned away due to their careless mistake. It was frustrating and a complete waste of time. A restaurant that cannot manage basic reservations properly is not worth the trouble. Definitely...
