They have the habit to place a sign in front of the door with "complete", even clients are leaving from the 9 tables-groundfloor, while there is PLENTY room upstairs (maybe too hard for them to serve up?). Also no invitation to wait. My friend was bold and she insisted asking if we could. The waitress who initially ignored us, answered rudly that we need to give her time to clean up and that she did see us... Really? Then why not give one glance to confirm? We were invited to sit in a little room with 9 tables, extremely LOUDLY. The food was quickly served, though they brought the wrong dish at first. My vegan toast was a thick slice of bread with extremely lots of peanut butter, 3 little slices of no tasty mango and alot of crunchy spread all over it. Extremely dry. Luckily I took a pot of tea. They quickly clean up and even wanted to take my still full pot of tea away. They only accept 1 payement per table. Really? When I told them that their place is too bad for soundatmosphere and I got a headache by all those people talking loudly in a small place, she answered "We know"... Really? Then why leave upstairs all those free tables? Avoid this place. Much ado about nothing. Brussels has much more nice places than this for vegan or healthy food. Lucifer Lives...

I arrived a few minutes before my friend and was told I could not sit until they arrived. This place is taking the whole âno reservationsâ brunch trend to the next level: not only can you not book a table, you canât even sit down if you show up first. There were empty tables downstairs and an entire upstairs area unused, seemingly reserved for staff to relax. Meanwhile, customers are made to wait outside.
When we were finally allowed to sit, the service was chaotic. A staff member came over twice in under five minutes to rush us into ordering, then forgot the order and returned to ask again. The pressure, followed by incompetence, set the tone for the entire visit. Plus, the food was overly salty.
This isnât an isolated case. Please confirm that other 1-star reviews show a clear pattern. The ownerâs snarky, defensive responses to criticism only reinforce the problem. Thereâs no interest in improving, only in arguing with unhappy customers. Clearly a case of ego...
Read moreI never saw someone so rude and impolite in Brussels. They LIED in the reply, and that is why I am being forced to change my review because I CANNOT TOLERATE you left me for a liar. The other customers weren't eating YET, THEIR TABLE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. That is why we ask them to move, otherwise is (I agree with you) impolite. That is also why they accepted with a smile as I would have done as well. In any case, that does not justify your rudeness for such a common thing. Completely impolite but, as they even said during the discussion, "my place, my rules".
I have also decided to decrease my rating to the food. I gave 4 stars because It looked yummy even though I couldn't taste it due to your bad manners. Your, again, impolite reply (you have other bad replies) only reinforces my initial impression and you clearly have an attitude problem. With all honesty, I hope you improve your manners to provide a better service and I wish you the best of luck with...
