We visited Charleroi as a stop before heading to Brussels for Tomorrowland in late July. We were searching for greek food originally but it was closed and decided to try this gem. Good thing we did because this was the first and most memorable experience we had with African food! We didn’t even know what to order but the owner and some nearby table helped us. Friendly owner and his wife who is the chef were amazing people. She also makes this delicious hot sauce that we tried. Make sure you ask to try some and especially on the plantains! It isn’t that spicy! We ordered a bunch of tapas on a platter with mixed items like plantains, grilled chicken, shrimp over some collard-like greens, and goat which the owner says that every African restaurant must have.
