Taj Mahal Charleroi — Restaurant in Charleroi

I thought a few weeks about making this review, because the people were very nice, but I feel the experience was so bad that if this helps make the place better, then I have to write it.

I was there with a friend to try the restaurant for the 1st time.

I'll start with the pros: it was cheap and the place looks nice. Aside from that, the entrées felt like frozen and reheated food mostly which was bad but the main chicken and rice plate which was really quite good, so I just suggest to take the main course and skip the rest.

But here's the problem: halfway through our dinner, I saw something walking near my shoulder, I turn, and a fairly large cockroach is sitting on the wall. I kind of panic at the moment, but we decide to remain and just ask to switch tables, saying there's a bug.

They don't go to squash the bug. They just "oh ok" it.

When we left the bug was still there, under the table. The one who I presume is the owner decided to give us a discount and make us not pay beverages, which was appreciated.

The problem is that if there's one cockroach in the eating room, there's 100s in the kitchen. I hope this review will help...

I ordered to be delivered from this restaurant and I have mixed feelings about my experience.

Pros: prices are quite fair and portions are good. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and none of the food caused indigestion.
