I believe this café is extremely overrated! I ordered two drinks and two dishes: a fresh juice, a "pink" latte, egg/salmon toasts, and a salmon bowl. The latte was ready within a minute, which I thought was nice but the juice was not. Confused, I stood there waiting a bit, but then decided to ask the waiter about it. It's good that I did, because she told me the juice would come to my table together with the food. Weird that they didn't tell me this right away... The juice took almost 20 minutes to arrive, without the food. As soon as I took my first sip, a big piece of plastic wrap was in my mouth (there were also small pieces). In shock, I told the waiter about it and asked for a new one (the same juice). It arrived quite quickly after, together with the food (so in total waited 25 min). The juice was really unpleasant to drink because there were many pieces of mint "branches" that felt like needles. On the positive side, the taste was nice. The egg/salmon toast was just mid, nothing special, and the side salad was really dry (almost no sauce/vinaigrette). The salmon bowl was bad, extremely dry and boring. Literally half a bowl of plain quinoa (it was hot, so at least that's good), the other half was dry salad (with 3 drops of vinaigrette) and a poor little slice of salmon. THAT'S IT. Of course, it was extremely bland and had no taste, so I had to ask for more vinaigrette, which the waiter gave me quickly (thanks for that). That "saved" the dish, although I would still consider it as bad. Also, I forgot to mention that my "pink latte" (which was on the monthly suggestions list) simply tasted like warm milk with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. This made me really sad since the vibe of the café is really nice and unique. The waiters were nice but not really doing anything to make our experience a bit more pleasant (as for the juice situation). I would certainly not order food there again.

The Leopold Cafe Presse from Montgomery is a catchy place ones you pass by. Nicely decorated, a standard Cafe place, otherwise. We went 3 friends after working hours, place was average busy, people mostly with laptops or chatting, couldn't say it gave any appealing vibe felt like a train station, especially with that door largely open and being also cold (not sure why at zero degrees outside?) Standard variety of drink options, and food, desserts as well. I personally will stay away from food, if a next time will exist to land in this place! The bowls were looking re-heated (guinoa that was looking bad, mango that was very withered and wondering if it was taken out from a compote, like hours ago). The rucola was fresh dough. If you know yourself with your stomach sensitive or value quality or freshness of the food, look somewhere else to grap a bite.

Relaxing cafe with plenty of outdoor seating, snacks, small patisserie items, coffee bagels and some pre-made meals. Large windows lit the rooms very well. Well located - Clientelle is mostly locals and students. Milkshake was a disappointment because it was half full of giant icecubes. * No table service Self service only - Queues to buy your food&drinks when busy. They refuse to employ enough staff, buy the owner is happy to take our money. - The poor staff have to work very hard,. They do the workload of two people. I feel sorry for them. Inside a bit run down but cosy - seats and tables and walls needs a lick of paint, and the floor has had some heavy use, and the sofas are dirty with and stained. Sundays comes with a 20 min queue stretching out of the door. Employ more staff!!

I usually love the Leopold Cafe chain, but my experience at Leopold Cafe Press was especially disappointing. The service here is extremely slow, which is surprising given its location in a busy business area where they should anticipate a high volume of customers during lunch hours. Shockingly, they had only one person handling everything.

The result was chaotic and disorganized. I spent more than 20 minutes just queuing and then had to wait an additional 35 minutes for a simple takeaway bowl. The inefficiency was frustrating and made for a very unpleasant experience.

When I finally received my bowl, it was a letdown. It seemed like they just threw pieces of things together without any care or presentation. The quality and thoughtfulness I’ve come to expect from Leopold Cafe were completely absent.

What makes this experience even more frustrating is that this cafe is situated in a business district. One would expect the management to be prepared for a lunch rush and to have adequate staff on hand to handle the crowd efficiently. However, the lack of organization and planning was evident.

Overall, the disorganization and inefficiency of this location were appalling. The service was not just slow but also poorly managed, making it an experience I do not wish to repeat. I won’t be coming back to Leopold Cafe Press and would not recommend it to others looking for a quick and well-prepared lunch.

For a cafe chain that usually delivers good service and quality food, this location was a huge disappointment. I hope they can address these issues promptly for the sake of...

The food is great but the organization of the cafe is terrible. Inefficient system completely. Firstly, people are not seated according to table rather they need to order first and then find a seat, if there is no seat all the best then. So people were queuing by orders not by tables, which is completely irrational. Doesn't make sense. Then servers are unable to find the tables who ordered what because the token is too small for them to see. Like in this day and age why aren't things digital and smoother for everyone??!!! On top of that the food took ages to come obviously because your system is slow to handle a crowd. And it is written in bold that during rush hours please dont use laptops but everyone was doing that anyway. It is the servers job to remind people. But feels like this cafe wants to have a different approach and be contemporary, but some management style needs to be traditional please. What a...
