Cracking Serbo/ Greek restaurant! We were taken here by a colleague after a conference and it was universally well received by the entire cohort. The cevapcici was the best I’ve eaten (It’s also the only cevapcici I’ve eaten, but for the sake of the review, we can ignore that). The waiters were extremely sociable, even more so when they discovered there was a Serb and a Bosnian within our group. This perhaps lent us favourable service but it was hugely enjoyed nonetheless.
The Hasselt locals seemed to be equally enamoured as the restaurant was full the whole night - not bad for a Thursday. There was obviously some concessions made for local tastes, fries and baked potatoes were offered as sides, but this didn’t take anything away from the feeling that this was good, well priced Balkan fare. My only wish is that they had Balkan beer on the menu...
