This place has seriously declined in quality and service. The original idea is good, but they have lost all control of quality, prices have increased, and orders take far too long to be delivered.
Today we ordered two sandwiches, and they are so rushed that they put the bread in the tinfoil straight out of the oven, making them stick to the foil, rendering it impossible to eat. The sesame sauce is now so watered down that it spills out of the sandwich, all over your clothes. Vegetables are tasteless and low quality, and the falafel has declined in quality and taste. This is not the first disappointing experience ordering with them.
Another typical example of a place with great potential which goes after short term profits, trying to expand far faster than they are able to. I would not...
Read moreWe arrived at 13h and both our queuing and subsequent waiting times were very, very acceptable. The food was delicious. No green herbs were used, but the falafel was superb for sure: crunchy on the outside, nicely fluffy on the inside, and a gorgeous taste profile (I suspect the spice mix, albeit admittedly on the more subtle side of the spectrum, includes ground fennel seeds). Even if the interior may be low profile, ([edit : and as opposed to what other reviewers suggest] I certainly did NOT notice any...
Read moreNow serving Syrian street food at 3 locations in Brussels, Ixelles, in Saint-Gilles and in the city centre at Wolf Food Market. We were in Ixelles. We have east: Seasoned smoked lamb and Seasoned smoked Chicken. No crispy lamb, the taste was very strange not remind us it is lamb, hard to describe. In addition the lamb was lukewarm. Our request to heat the meat was reluctantly fulfilled and still it was not hot.The quantity of meat was very sparse. The tough flatbreads were thin and limp. The side dish was a salad, which made up 70 per cent of the menu. The service was rude and the staff impatient. The price is not justified because of the poor quality and the quantity of meat. You can get better lamb gyros on every corner. We eat there...
