The Black Sheep — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

If you’re looking for a night that’s equal parts belly laughs and classy cocktails or hamburgers, The Black Sheep is the place to be. I wandered in for a comedy show and ended up staying for the fancy drinks—turns out, both are equally intoxicating. The comedian, Luke Kidgell, had me in stitches, and I’m not sure if it was because he was genuinely hilarious or if the cocktails were doing most of the heavy lifting. Either way, I haven’t laughed that hard since I tried making a martini at home.

The cocktails are so fancy I’m not entirely sure what I drank, but it was served in a glass that looked like it had been hand-blown by a Venetian artisan. I went with a friend last rainy Friday around 18:30 and it was very calm ( empty...ish ), I actually loved it because I personally don't like crowds. So, if you are next to Flagey and you want to peacefully enjoy a cocktail, this is the place if you arrive early. We sat at the bar, and it was so nice. I am 52 years old, and I don't like to be in a place where young little adults are drunk or squeezed next to me shouting, lol. Or where you need to wait forever to get a drink. Definitely, i like this bar. Of course if you go later you get your party!

I had 3 Margaritas ( I'm Mexican you know ahah ) and my friend had 2 curated whisky cocktails that they were also amazing.

Love this place, my rugby team comes quite often here but last weekend some friends came to visit me in Brussels and the black sheep was one of the first places I've taken them to. the bartenders were so friendly and helpful that they fell in love with the atmosphere in Brussels right away. I was also amazed by the fact that Natan, one of the guys working there, was cleaning the street. Shout-out to Natan! Also, a year back, my friend had some trouble with a man who became aggressive and the bouncer came to help.
