Brasserie Muze — Restaurant in Kortrijk

We visited Courtrai for the first time and decided to eat here for dinner.

I ordered a Flemish stew with salad and fries and must say that I really enjoyed it. The Flemish stew, salad and fries had a good taste and where served nicely on a big plate.

The coupe mocha which I chose as a dessert was nicely served as well with whipped cream and (again) tasted very good. I do have to say that it was quite a lot because it was completely filled up to the bottom (nonetheless it did not ruin the experience).

The service was good as well. We asked if we could sit at another table due to the wind and the waiter helped us immediately by setting up a new, more covered table. One of us forgot our jacket and the same waiter brought it to us right away.

The waiters where also friendly as well.

The only remark I have (and this is the reason for a deduction in the star rating) is that I noticed that one of the waiters was biting her nails. Not that hygienic if you ask me.

The atmosphere was good as well and heard from the other people I was with that the interior of the restaurant was beautiful. The only thing I was missing was a little bit of music (or I might just not have noticed it).

In the end the food was great and the waiters where friendly...

Very nice location. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The portions were very generous although the omelette wasn't particularly tasty. If you are under time pressure or particularly hungry you might find that it takes them quite some time to bring your food. We sat outside, and they allowed us gladly to bring our dogs. Bien plus qu une brasserie, beaucoup mieux que certains restaurants qui se disent étoilés , service en salle super agréable on est directement à l aise dès la prise en charge, on se sent attendu et la personne en salle est très professionnel et aux petits soins, nous sommes arrivés là par hasard en amoureux ce dimanche mais un hasard qui a très bien fait les choses, nous y avons passés un moment super agréable. Nous avons été servis ni trop vite ni trop lentement, le juste milieu. Apéritifs accompagnés d une assiette apéritive offerte succulente, repas très goûteux du début à la fin avec une qualité de produits irréprochables, produits frais très bien présentés. On sent dans l assiette que tout est fait avec cœur, motivation et très frais ce qui devient rare de nos jours. Le french coffee est également à tomber par terre. Bravo à tous, cuisine et service en salle 10/10. Nous avons passé un superbe moment, habitant à 130km de là c est certain que nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir, ce restaurant en vaut vraiment le détour.
