Nice location and view over the water and castle Bad logistics and not enough staff. Ordering was difficult and the food took quite long. Also the wine was served in a champagne glass because apparently the dish washers couldn't keep up and they'd run out of wine glasses... :p The vegetarian hamburger (the fake meat part) was the best one I've had so far. I'm usually not really into meat replacements and especially not the ones they put on hamburgers: they're usually to dry and lack interesting flavor. This one however exceeded my expectations: it wasn't dry and had very deep and interesting flavors. It didn't really try to mimic real meat, but just offered something that tastes good on a sandwich. The bread was toooo dry (so disappointing cause the veggie burger part finally wasn't dry :p) The fries weren't tasty either The meat of my company was over cooked and not tasty 48 euros for 2 not so great hamburgers, 4 drinks and not so...

It has been years since I discovered this place and I enjoyed it over the years in multiple ocasions (I should get a client card :p) . May it be summer or winter, the place adapts to the season: in the summer you have longchairs outside, next to water, facing the beautiful La Roche castle and an adapted menu, in the winter you have an authentic winter mountain vibe with the burning wood in the stove and the fitted decorations. The winter menu is nothing less than the best you would find in any savoyarde challet. The beer menu includes some of the very fine Belgian beers. The service has always been super friendly and authentic and although there have been some ups and downs over the years, like in any othe business, they always return to their desired standard. The prices are typical to Belgium and fall within the expected range for this kind of place. I would for sure recomend this place and there is no doubt I will return every time I am in...

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience at this restaurant. When we arrived there was no one to welcome us at the door, so we waited a bit and no one showed up. We had to find an empty table by ourselves and ask if we could sit there. The Menu is very complex and filled with options, which wouldn’t be a problem if they gave us time to read and chose what we wanted but instead the waiter and waitress came over every 2-4 minutes to ask if we had made a decision yet, which was really annoying. I ended up ordering a pasta meal that was completely tasteless and almost no meat at all. We finished eating and wanted to check out but it took a long time for them to come with the bill, we had to ask several waiters to find out what was going on. We were very unsatisfied by the service at this place. A good thing about the restaurant is its infrastructure and terrace views which...

The location is the best in town that’s where it ends. I ordered two different beers hoping to find a drinkable one. I asked inside if the Guinness was any good the bar tender didn’t know what I ment and pasted me over to a waiter that spoke good English again blank…so I went for Rochefort that somehow was indistinguishable from the Lupulus. I know I’ve been spoilt with cocktails in NY but these were sad.
