Waiters forget to bring 2 empty wine glasses, even after 4 times asking and them confirming that they would bring them right away. We are 6 in total, having first italian charcuterie platters to share (not bad). Then we order 6 pizzas. after ordering (as after 5 minutes waiters informed us that some ingredients were not available, we had to change our choices (this for 3 out of 6 pizzas - but ok, this proves they use fresh ingredients, one could hope..)). so just to make sure, we asked (we speak perfect French), whether they had 6 pizzas in total.. 10 minutes later we got 3 pizzas. after 5 minutes we thought it took long before the 3 remaining were coming.. so we asked: completely forgotten, the oven was shut down. They had to start preparing the 3 remaining pizzas. so 20 minutes later on a cold terras (with the 3 other pizzas finished obviously) they came with the 3 remaining pizzas. No apologies, no nothing, not even some attention for us - the only remaining table - but all staff eating and having fun inside at the bar.. at the end they offered us 1 (15 euro) out of the 4 bottles of wine that we ordered for free (we spent 200+ euro in total). conclusion: worst service ever. Hontestly: pizzas were good 8/10 ! oh, the toilets were disgusting (and not just because of that one evening, but it is very clear that they don't get decently cleaned...
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pizzeria Mezzogiorno. We placed an order for two pizzas and eagerly awaited their arrival. However, after waiting for a whole hour, we still didn't receive our order. Frustrated and hungry, we had no choice but to cancel it.
The lack of communication and professionalism displayed by the restaurant was astonishing. Not only did they fail to deliver our pizzas within a reasonable time frame, but they also failed to provide any updates or apologies for the delay. It was as if our order didn't matter to them at all.
As a customer, I expect timely service and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, Pizzeria Mezzogiorno failed miserably on both fronts. This experience left a sour taste in our mouths, quite literally, as we were left without the promised pizzas and had to settle for a disappointing alternative.
I strongly advise against dining at Pizzeria Mezzogiorno. Their inability to fulfill a simple order within a reasonable time frame and their lack of communication are clear indicators of their poor management and disregard for customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and choose another pizza place that values your time...
Read moreThis place is a disgrace for the Italien Kitchen.(Please change your name, it's misleading...) Although they use a Brick Oven for their "Pizza" they were unable to serve something eatable. The bottom (dough) was raw, like it was chewing gum! On Top of that was a swimming-pool of Oil with half a kilo of Mozzarella, Tuna and Olives floating there as well. Also the Margherita failed , same problems.... We were forced to quit after eating the first slice for the first time in our lifes I mean..... it's Pizza...don't need to be a Rocket Scientist to make a Pizza you can at least eat! Please don't think this was only us, we have seen many full Plates return to the Kitchen after people left home, and lots of slices left behind on the tables. The worst thing is that the waiters and the Cashier act like everything is running smooth, like you enjoyed it. Oh! ....and last but not least it was bloody expensive ! (Please do note I never leave less than 3 ⭐⭐⭐...
