Thursday, 12 Dec. 2019, we had a family dinner at Restorante Rossi. The 4 of us decided to go for the menu at 45€ per person with a starter, a middle dish and a main dish. We enjoyed every bit of our choice! Portions are of the correct size and a dessert still fits perfectly. Upon leaving you do feel you had the right amount of food! So yes thumbs up for the quality, the portions and the amount of food served. Rossi is undoubtably a very good, if not the best, Italien in Leuven. We enjoyed an excellent and creative five course vegetarian meal with a nice glass of wine at a small table on the side of the street. The flavor combinations were really good. This restaurant takes the Italian cuisine into the 21st century. I highly recommend it.
The only downside is that the place works in shifts during the weekend. In a place like this, you want to give your guests as much time as they need to enjoy the wonderful food. And working in shifts is in my opinion the exact opposite of "slow dining", which is the...
