Been here several times.

The nachos are disgusting - I have no idea what the cold, curdled goo on top was - they said it was cheese but it was disgusting. Maybe if it was heated it would have been something like queso? The chips are those weird preformed triangles, not tortilla-style. The white stuff… they said it was sour cream but it tasted like spoiled Frommage Blanc. Horrendous. And half the chips were stale, some soggy… it was like they made it yesterday and gave it to us today. The guacamole was alright though. Honestly a bag of Doritos is more of an authentic representation than this disgusting pile of mystery quasi-food.

The wings were slimy and gross. I couldn’t even finish one.

The peanut fried chicken is wonderful. The kids loved it, the adults liked them, great.

The burgers are pretty good. Not exceptional but better than most. Far better than Mr Gaston’s or Mc D’s.

The drinks are good and poured generously.

The service is hit or miss. Honestly, more hits than misses. I usually have to go to the bar for refills or to order or to ask for flatware, sometimes I can’t even find anyone or when I do they’re too busy to talk. When they do talk, they may be friendly or they may be put-off by the interruption.

The ambiance is nice, and the outdoor space is lovely. I’d treat this as a bar with good chicken strips and OK burgers, not a...

I've honestly avoided this place because of a first time I went being a negative experience. It is definitely really the main expat place to go, and a reliable place to find english speakers. But, can also be the worst of them with this being a very heavy military spot also. However, went after learning recently they have pool, it was a much better experience. Indoor space is cozy and relaxed, mix of food/drinks/cocktails. Separate relaxed place for playing billiards. Good music regularly, and new staff that are much more friendly. Outdoor space is in a nice converted courtyard area, but mostly for smoking. Several creepy teddy bears, no TVs for watching sports unfortunately, but given the military rowdy presence without TVs, maybe a sad but...

Terrible service!!! A server told us to sit anywhere and then never looked at us once. It was 32 degrees outside and we were in desperate need of cold drinks. After being completely ignored for at least 15 minutes when it wasn't even busy, my husband went inside to order from another server who said she thought we we served (despite nothing in front of us to suggest that). Ordered cold drinks from her and once those were finished, she looked at us (first one still didn't look at us after 1/2 hr now), my husband waved and she walked the other way. We were going to order more drinks, dinner and then more take-away food for our girls but were extremely unhappy with the horrible service that we left and took our business elsewhere. This was...
