Chez Riz — Restaurant in Namur

Please stay away from this venue. After we were seated and the waitress took our order, we were left for one hour (!) without food. For other tables food came remarkably slow. After one hour, the waitress came back to took our order again (?) and she said our order was changed with another in the kitchen (even if we would believe this ridiculous excuse, why would she write again our order). I figured out they didn't started to cook our meals and asked how long it would take. Without any apology or whatsoever, she told us with straight face that we had to wait another 30 minutes. I asked for the receipt and left the restaurant. Please be aware.

While the food is acceptable, the cocktails are expensive and with too much sugar cane syrup (and with this they skimp on the alcoholic drink they should use). The service is bad - when you tell them you didn't like something, you get an answer along the lines of "everyone else liked, too bad!". Adding to this, they don't accept the major card system in Belgium - maestro (which is now mandatory by law) - having VISA for the tourists or cash. For what you spend, there are better options not that...

Nice place in city center. The sushi is very fresh and made on the spot, the other dishes were also good, but the sushi was even better. Broad selection of dishes . Good reception friendly staff. They also have a terrace which is on a popular square and if the weather is good very crowded. Toliet hygiene was so so. Overall good place to go to not expensive, not cheap either we payed around 30euro per person for drinks starter...
