La Chine — Restaurant in Namur

The food was very good. Has freshly prepared dishes. Quantity and quality are optimal.

However owner made me feel quite isolated and excluded compared to the other tables. He had small talks and was chatting happily with other costumers while sticking to the strictly necessary short professional exchanges with me. There were only very few costumers so really not a no time issue. Was that only because I was alone at my table ?

Also did not appreciate that he offered free digestif to the table that left before me but nothing to me while I took a full menu with aperitif, soup, entrance and dessert and left a tip. Either he offers it to all tables or to none but does not do such...

Had gone for a takeaway for family of 5. Had difficult time explaining my requirements in French on the phone so had to go all the way to the restaurant. They apologised as they informed of young students playing prank on the phone. They were kind enough to explain by using google. We ordered Chicken fried rice, Shrimp fried rice, Veg fried rice & Chicken with vegetables cooked in brown sauce. Authentic Chinese taste. A good place about 2 kms from the river or central place and INNO mall. The place was open till 9 pm, is on the road side with no parking near the restaurant but available on the street. Restaurant can easily accommodate 75-100 people with lot of Chinese...

Ce jeudi 23 février, j'ai effectué une commande auprès du restaurant La Chine et je n'ai pas regretté mon choix.

J'ai opté pour le menu à 23 euros constitué d'un potage piquant, de loempias accompagné de 2 sauces, de beignets de poulets sauce aigre-douce avec sa barquette de riz nature et d'une boule de coco au chocolat. Globalement, j'ai apprécié mon repas. En effet, tout est arrivé bien chaud, très rapidement et les quantités étaient généreuses. J'ai particulièrement bien apprécié les beignets; malgré le trajet, ils sont restés croustillants et la fraîcheur du poulet était indéniable. La sauce aigre-douce était, selon moi, un poil trop vinaigré mais cela m'a quand même convenu. Les loempias étaient correctes mais ne m'ont pas spécialement marqué. Néanmoins, une des sauces qui accompagnait les loempias était vraiment très bonne. Pour terminer, la boule de coco est bien arrivée froide, c'était vraiment agréable en bouche.

Bref, je recommande ce restaurant pour les amateurs de cuisine...
