One of the Worst Dining Experiences Ever — Avoid at All Costs

We stumbled upon this place while walking through the streets — tables were empty, and now we know why. From the moment we walked in, the experience went downhill fast.

The waiter and chef were shockingly rude, especially toward international customers. It felt more like being scolded than served. We politely mentioned that we had just come from a bar and didn’t want drinks. Still, the waiter demanded that each of us order a drink — not suggested, but forced.

It didn’t stop there. We were three people, already full, and simply asked to order two main courses and one dessert. Instead, the staff insisted we order three full meals, completely ignoring our request and acting like they knew our appetite better than we did. The chef even started instructing us how to eat and how much we should eat — as if we were toddlers, not paying guests.

The tone, attitude, and arrogance from the staff were beyond unacceptable. One of them even suggested we “order the drinks or take it home” — a ridiculous thing to say in any dining setting.

The experience was so off-putting that we left feeling angry and humiliated. No customer should be treated this way — ever.

This place has no idea how to treat people, and if there’s any justice, it’ll shut down sooner than later. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy....

Quite small, only 9 two person tables, but very cozy restaurant. Menu is small and chef come to explain what does it contain. For starter it was fish soup in Oostend style, with three sorts of fish, nicely spiced, slightly sour ir was really good start. Then was time to choose the main dish, what was not an easy task, since all looked so tasty. First choice fell on fish of the day which was weever or pieterman. Second choice was vegetable stew in Indonesian way with spicy chicken. For dessert we took apple pine nut cake and Catalan cream. I was yesterday in this Restaurant and everything was perfect the man who owns the Restaurant is a very nice and cool Person 😎 the food was so good my brothers bullet Steak Tasted like heaven on earth and my Curry was very good too when you go into the Restaurant it Feels like Meeting a well known friend because of personality of the owner he is just a great guy he is so funny I think every rating under 4 Stars is bullshit this Restaurant is one of the best i have ever been to!!!!!!!!
