As has no doubt been observed many times before, Quick is a misleading name. I believe that we were stood for over half an hour waiting for two orders of chips with various toppings. First our order number appeared as ânearly readyâ, then âreadyâ, then it disappeared off the screen altogether. After that, another long wait observing the bag sit there still flat-packed with our order number stapled to the front, before at last being opened out hopefully, then sitting there for an age again, empty. All the time, the smell of stale urine emanating from somewhere. Perhaps from the full drain that I literally saw gently bubbling, right by the soda fountain. Maybe from the large public toilet that the restaurant sits by. Who knows? All but three of the burger options were unavailable. How this happens in a branch of a large chain with a modern supply chain system, in the middle of a capital city is beyond me. As a vegetarian, I was left only with the option of plain chips, or chips with some kind of topping. I saw the topping applied and any vestiges of hunger left me. No doubt the large syringe-like mechanism used to squeeze gloop over the fries was hygienic and in order. But the plunger-assisted mechanism pushing out the bottom and what it deposited put me too much in mind of another action by which substances are expelled by bearing down, usually at the other end of digestion. In the end, anger won out over disgust as the reason I did not eat my order. Itâs currently sitting in the bin, stinking out my hotel room. I will never eat in Quick again. Never. If anyone mentions Quick to me, I will be very clear with them on my opinion. I feel almost evangelical in my dislike of the company after this experience. Hunger makes people irritable, it might be expected that a company that deals in sating hunger might be aware of that and take steps to keep on the right side of their customers. Alas, not. I do not know who is to blame, but I will say that the staff who were there did all look like they were working so I canât say too much against them. They didnât seem to know which orders came before which though, which is certainly something given that there were in numerical order, but at least they appeared to be trying their very best. J'ai passĂ© une commande ce soir au sein du restaurant Quick de la gare du midi (comme en tĂ©moigne l'image du ticket de caisse, ci-joint). Le premier point que j'aimerai aborder est le manque d'hygiĂšne/le nom respect du produit, en effet, je ne connais pas vos TAT de service de commande ni le dĂ©lai aprĂšs lequel un produit cuisinĂ© doit ĂȘtre servi mais il me semble y avoir de nombreux abus quant Ă ceux-ci. En effet, une 10 aine de commandes ont Ă©tĂ© constituĂ© et Ă©noncĂ© sans rĂ©ponse des clients... ces commandes sont donc restĂ© un temps non nĂ©gligeable sur le comptoir avant que le personnel ne rĂ©alise que celles-ci Ă©taient d'anciennes commandes non validĂ©es dans le systĂšme prĂ©alablement. Mais ce n'est pas grave, recyclage ni une, ni deux, les produits de ces commandes jouent a la chaise musicale sur d'autres plateaux/sac et quand on se rend compte que, parfois, certains des produits ne correspondent Ă aucune des commandes en cours, on les remet dans les racks pour les maintenir aux chauds... Bonjour les respects de normes de tempĂ©ratures... Si c'Ă©tait arrivĂ© une fois, passons, mais Ă la 5-6e fois, on se dit qu'il y a un sĂ©rieux problĂšme et qu'il est inadmissible de payer pour un produit a moitiĂ© frais... Au delĂ des burgers, mĂȘme les frites sont recyclĂ©s, les paquets qui traĂźnent sur le comptoir sont ramenĂ© aux abords de la friteuse se cognant au passage contre le gilet d'une collĂšgue et allant gentiment s'installer par la suite aux cĂŽtĂ©s des nouveaux paquets Ă venir. Les incidents peuvent arrivĂ©s, surtout en pĂ©riode de "rush", nĂ©anmoins, le nombre de commande au panneau n'Ă©tait pas consĂ©quent Ă ce moment (si on retire la dizaine de commande clĂŽturĂ©e mais non supprimer du panneau) et puis... Le personnel n'Ă©tait pas trĂšs pressĂ©...
