I have had an incredibly disappointing experience with Panos in Gare du Midi. One of the major issues is the employees' poor command of languages other than French, despite being located in Brussels. This language barrier becomes evident when placing an order, with a fifty-fifty chance of not receiving what you actually requested if ordering in a language other than French.
Moreover, the constant overcrowding and chaotic atmosphere in the store further add to the negative experience. It is challenging to navigate through the bustling crowd and maintain a sense of order.
I visit this establishment multiple times a week to quickly grab a sandwich before or after work or during my lunch break, as it is a convenient option when pressed for time. However, the recurring problem of receiving incorrect orders or missing items continues to leave me frustrated.
During my most recent visit, I ordered a brown sandwich with grilled chicken from the menu, which specifically mentioned it included grilled chicken with vegetables and a sauce of choice. Unfortunately, after a prolonged wait, I was disappointed to find that the sandwich contained only a few measly slices of tomato, despite the promised inclusion of various vegetables. This lack of attention to detail and failure to fulfill the advertised ingredients is truly disheartening.
Considering my experience, I cannot recommend Panos in Gare du Midi. The employees' communication difficulties, the crowded and chaotic atmosphere, and the repeated errors in orders, including the significant deviation from the listed ingredients, make it an unsatisfactory choice.    Read moreNo go area, Inexplicable discrimination from the store clerk with hat. On Wednesday afternoon(12th. Oct. 2022) I stood there and said "hello" a few times, but this clerk was either talking to another clerk or looking down. During this time, a female clerk reminded him that a customer (me) was waiting, but he still ignored me. Then, a strange scene happened, another female clerk looked at me with her eyes while whispering something in his ear, and then made a strange laughing sound. He glanced up at me, then lowered his head and continued to ignore me.
I've never experienced such disgusting things. It's a strange store, full of inexplicable clerks.

Nothing could be further from the truth: the staff is unfriendly to their customers and each other, they are short with their answers, the place is dirty, prepared sandwiches are almost thrown at the counter of the cashiers. There was some liquid underneath a table. When I signalled this to the staff, I was instructed to tell it at the counter. And not in a nice way... A hint to the supervisor: train your employees some basic customer facing skills and train them to work as a team. Sandwhiches are the same price/quality as with other shops. It's easy...
