I’ve been a loyal customer here for a long time and always loved your pizza—especially the dough, which had that beautiful sourdough flavour and texture. But yesterday, something was off. The dough tasted completely different—bland, lifeless, almost like it wasn’t fermented properly. It made me wonder if you’ve changed the recipe or, possibly, had to improvise with a quicker yeast-based version due to a busy service? Either way, it just wasn’t up to the usual standard, which was disappointing.
On another note, I’ve noticed quite a few people commenting here as well as while waiting outside of restaurant on multiple moments about issues with booking. It might be time to rethink the current system. Maybe offer two options:
-Just walk-ins – come, sit, enjoy – no reservations.
-For bookings, adopt a system like nearby restaurant (YokaTomo): take a deposit during booking; and if someone is late or doesn’t show up, that amount is kept. It’s fair to both the restaurant and other guests waiting.
Still love this place, will come again to see if the dough recipe changed or was a small hiccup only. I'm saying all this as someone who really wants to keep coming back. Just hope these things can be...
Read moreSince 450 Gradi opened in our neighbourhood, I've always ordered and picked-up pizza's here. I used to make a lot of promotion and sent all my friends there because I genuinely found that they made the best pizza's in Brussels. They were delicious, with high quality ingredients. Now the prices have increased, and the pizza's have decreased in quality... I'm sorry for this honest review, but I feel like someone has to state the fact that it's very noticeable that the pizza's are not what they used to be. The dough is still good, but the burrata looked more like mozzarella (not liquid in the inside) and didn't taste good. The tomatoes looked and tasted like the cheap cherry tomatoes from Delhaize. Overall the pizza's are not as tasty as they used to be and therefore too expensive for what you get. Their timing is oftentimes not amazing either, resulting in cold pizza's for takeaway. I understand inflation is a thing, but this is just really disappointing...I will not be coming again after the last 3 pizza's I've had... I'm only giving this review as a genuine form of feedback, because I hope you step up your game and make the delicious pizza's that you used to make...
Read moreThis pizza is one of the best I've had in Brussels. It reminded me of the pizza I fell in love from Napoli. Obviously not the same, but it's the closest I've found here. We got the Pomodoro and Calabria. That Calabrian sausage was spot on – tasted just like the Calabrian region in the south of Italy. The aperol spritz was also on point, very well balanced.
The service was great, even though there was only one waiter working. He knew his stuff, very good!
Definitely sit outside and enjoy the chill vibe. It's a really nice area with lots of trees and not...
