Un Posto al Sole — Restaurant in Schaerbeek - Schaarbeek

The restaurant wasn’t still opened at 18:30 but the door was and inside there were the workers eating. We kindly asked if we could disturb them only for making a reservation and they answered us very cold and annoyed with taking the booking. A few hours later we decided to cancel the reservation for this behavior in regards to a customer and on the phone they recognized us and they answered us, again, cold without any interest. Booked through TheFork for a table at 2pm. I arrived at 2:10 (didn’t call) to be told the kitchen was closed already. I can understand for more than 15 minutes of delay but for 10, simply remove the 2pm option on TheFork in that case (people are bound to be late). Does it also mean you have to choose your food in less than 10 minutes if you arrive right on time at 2?

Abbiamo soggiornato vicino a questo ristorante ed eravamo alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare. Dopo diverse ricerche su TripAdvisor, incuriositi dalle recensioni abbiamo pensato di recarci in serata. Premetto che non avevamo fretta e non abbiamo pensato di prenotare accettando e mettendo in preventivo l’ipotesi di dover aspettare magari il ns turno. Arriviamo ed era tutto pieno con qualche tavolo quasi alla fine. Ci avviciniamo al cameriere che quasi senza rivolgerci lo sguardo ci liquida dicendo che è tutto pieno. Quindi proviamo a chiedere se magari ripassando tra una mezz’ora avremmo potuto trovare posto e la sua risposta, mentre ci dava le spalle, e’ stata che poteva essere. Decidiamo quindi di fare un giro e tornare mezz’ora dopo ed avendo individuato il proprietario che stava sparecchiando un tavolino decidiamo di chiedere se si fosse liberato un tavolo ma la sua risposta è stata se possibile più cafona del cameriere: assolutamente no! Capisco che fossero molto presi, stanchi ecc ma non capisco la sufficienza del cameriere e la maleducazione del proprietario che evidentemente ha dimenticato la buona educazione.
