New Plasky — Restaurant in Schaerbeek - Schaarbeek

Today, we were really hungry and stumbled upon this charming little spot. We thought it would be perfect for a simple meal, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!

The place is very unpretentious, not fancy at all, but incredibly cozy and welcoming. The staff was exceptionally friendly and polite with both me and my boyfriend.

I ordered the carbonara pasta, which is my absolute favorite, and it did not disappoint! It was delicious—the flavors were spot-on, and the seasoning was just right.

My boyfriend went for the dish of the day: vol-au-vent with fries. It was his first time trying this traditional Belgian meal, and he was really impressed—so tasty! Both of our portions were quite generous, especially for the price.

Le New Plaski, c’est clairement une bonne adresse pour se poser et passer un bon moment entre amis. Un grand merci à David, le gérant, pour son accueil toujours chaleureux et son service impeccable. On y a mangé plusieurs fois des pâtes, et franchement, c’était toujours très satisfaisant : les portions sont généreuses, et on se sent bien accueilli.

Le cadre est très agréable, au calme, avec beaucoup de verdure autour, ce qui fait du bien quand on cherche un peu de tranquillité. C’est un lieu convivial où les gens aiment se retrouver, et ça se ressent dans l’ambiance. Le restaurant est généralement bien fréquenté, preuve qu’il plaît.

Le seul petit bémol, c’est que quand on est en terrasse, on entend pas mal les bus qui passent à proximité, ce qui peut être un peu agaçant. Mais honnêtement, ça ne gâche pas l’expérience.

Well decorated, server/owner is friendly. The pasta were in good quantity. There is also 2 parts in the room. One is a bit elevated (10cm), but farther from the "TV" area. Good to chill...
