De Sint-Hubertus — Restaurant in Schaerbeek - Schaarbeek

Restaurant has good kids menu BUT I really do not recommend to go there with kids, you might encounter an agressive senior (regular client, apparently) who might shout at you and your kids: "You are not alone here!" (yes, our 3 years old kids were unbearable to him; it also seemed that he was annoyed by the fact that were non-Belgians). He was further loudly complaining about us to the waiters and manager (with whom he later had a friendly chat). I really regret this incident was left entirely up to clients and there was no intervention of the staff whatsoever. I do not imply our kids were behaving perfectly well but, everyone who has or has had toddlers, well - you cannot expect that they will be silent during the entire restaurant visit. I suggest for the restaurant to re-consider child-related policy; if kids are still welcomed there - in case of an incident between the clients - please, get involved and sort it out!...

UPDATE: this year we went back for their seasonal dishes. This time I tried the rabbit saddle and my partner got the pheasant. Absolutely delicious and melting in the mouth. The only thing that was disappointing was the desert: we had a Tarte Tatin and profiteroles. The profiteroles had ice cream inside, not vanilla cream, and the choux were dry, overcooked. This thing should be like an eclair, not like hard, dry biscuits with ice cream. The Tarte Tatin was much better. They are real specialists for the game meat, but for deserts not really....

Very nice old school restaurant. Service was great and food absolutely delicious. We went for the seasonal dishes with game meat. I went for the boarlet steak and my partner chose the deer meat. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and the meat melted in the mouth. Totally...

A complete waist of time!

Once again its been stated! Brussel is the worst city I know. Even as an 'International city' with the European Parliament most people still refuse to speak any other language then French!

The waiter kept us waiting for almost 20 minutes for our drinks order. Again 10 before he finally brought them. After our polite question for the menu he simply said that this was not possible!" The kitchen is closing in 10 minutes" We asked for "l'addition" again it took him long the get back for the bill. He presented us a bill (two beers) for € 44.- When I looked at him he said "I'm sorry this one is not for you!" When he came back with the right one he presented it speaking almost...
