My worst experience in a restaurant ever. My friend and I were quietly having a meal and a glass of wine (which were ok), served by a nice waitress when two large noisy men stood up to have a loud conversation right at our small table for two. Unable to continue our own conversation, we put up with the situation for a while, until my friend finally politely asked if they could move away a little, as they were crowding us uncomfortably. They did so, one of the men left and the other sat down. Then, after some minutes, (having somehow worked himself up) this man stands up and rudely asks us to leave the restaurant! What?!? He shouted at us, told us he was "the boss" and he didn't want "people like us" in his bar. Unbelievable. What a sad little man. I have to join my friend Camilla in her review, I have never had such a bad or sad experience. The person who called himself “the boss” displayed a total lack of professionalism and no concern whatsoever for the people visiting the establishment. A beautiful wine bar in a residential area of Schaerbeek. The wines and Italian bubbles were very good and the food was excellent. They have everything from small portions to share to full meals.
