The food was great, it came in alright portions and you could tell it was well made and made with good quality. However the service wasn’t very good. First of all, as we needed other things throughout our meal, we had to remind the waiters about it more than 2-3 times in order for them to bring us what we needed. We could see that there was many free waiters standing around however they made no effort to help us. Also, when we finished, our table was cleaned up however it wasn’t wiped. When we wanted tea, we had to wait about 30 minutes and by the time it arrived the tea was cold. We asked for hotter tea, and we had to wait another 15-20 mins for it and even so, the tea...

The issue is that when you come alone, you get the same complimentary appetizers as when you come as a group of five. And when we politely asked for a bit more of just two meze dishes — the yogurt-based one and the spicy ezme — we were charged extra per item. Ridiculous. If that’s the case, we might as well sit at separate tables and then merge together after everyone gets their individual meze. I don’t understand why we were charged an extra €3 per meze — it feels like a sweet scam. As for the taste: the one with minced meat was terrible — it might’ve even been spoiled, it smelled off. The decor is indeed as other people describe it, butbi could not feelt the atmosphere because we are put on a table in the little room, where i think the old restaurant was before, and there the room is not so cozy anymore and the feeling is that i am on the back of restaurant. We could enjoy the food ofcourse, but the background was very cold. Food was super yummy and the meat was extremly tender no matter what animal was 🤭.
