I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bagheera. The restaurant has undergone a significant change in their kitchen staff, and I must say, the difference was remarkable.

The new cook has brought a fresh perspective to the menu, and the quality of the dishes was noticeably improved. The staff seemed genuinely motivated and proud to be serving such delicious food.

The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, providing helpful recommendations and making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The highlight of the experience was the food itself. From the appetizers to the entrees, every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were bold and balanced, with a wonderful attention to detail and plating decoration that made each bite a delight. One of the standout dishes was the lamb, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The accompanying vegetables were perfectly balanced and seasoned, making for a delicious and well-rounded meal. Another highlight was the dessert, involving Jerusalem Artisjoke which was extremely original.

My most recent experience left me feeling disappointed. I've been there more than once, but not recently, and I thought the service team was very inexperienced; they dropped some cutlery and dishes, didn't even ask if we wanted wine after our cocktails, and brought us dirty salt and pepper shakers that were empty. We then attempted to call the waitress (about ten times); she never looked at us and thus never arrived. We ordered the very expensive and usually good steak for two, but the presentation was lacking, and when you took one slice of meat, eight more came with it because it was not properly cut. For a 92€ dish, it is extremely disappointing. The DJ began playing music very loudly at 22h, while we were still eating, as were most of the other people in the restaurant, making it impossible to converse with your neighbour. When the tables were removed and everyone was ready to dance, the DJ's music selection was inappropriate, and he did not appear to care what we wanted. Food tasted good but I have several comments:

1. Boards are dark and the atmosphere is also dark what basically doesnt allow to see well what is on the board. I think for such lighting boarding must be white otherwise you can’t really see well what you are eating.
2. menu options are very limited - if you want no fish and meat, there is no seafood options for main dishes (schrimps, octopus and etc). Also, I think a bit more vegetarian options would bring a balance to menu.

Service: Barmen Alpha is amazing - 10 points for him. Table service is normal, nothing exceptional there but also no remarks.

Atmosphere: I found it weird that music became loud as from 22:30h I think, or maybe earlier. It was difficult to talk with each other. 23:30h the dining tables were still on the dance floor. So not sure maybe they changed the concept, because earlier after the dinner, tables were removed and louder music was starting - I found it a good concept.
