That's what I said nine months ago, when I gave five stars. Unfortunately, I had a few encounters with the shop owner in the meantime. While his staff is always helpful and polite, he is one of the rudest persons I've ever met. In a subtle way, but nonetheless very offensive. Since more than one year we have this tradition that I go there every Saturday with my four year old daughter after her English class. We either buy something or eat there. The owner is unwilling to serve me, and if he finally decides to take my orders, he's also the only person who doesn't understand me and he always sounds very annoyed. Well, if my French is not good enough for you, your cakes are not good enough for my money. I seriously think he doesn't like kids. That would perhaps explain his behaviour. I must say my daughter is very well-behaved though. Today she wanted to eat her eclair at the cafe while I had thought we would go home, we hadn't discussed it, but no big issue, I thought I'd just tell the guy we'd sit down for a minute, but what a reaction - he got angry and shouted that that's why he had asked me before, because takeaway is cheaper. Ok, I told him I'd be happy to pay the extra, but not if someone talks to me like that. This guy is clearly not made for working with customers. Perhaps he should do the baking and let his assistants run the cafe. Because the cakes are still fantastic. I will certainly not go...

Ce matin lĂ est arrivĂ© en juin. Ă peine rentrĂ©, le serveur/vendeur nous regarde d'un drĂŽle d'air sans dire bonjour pour ensuite faire un accueil chaleureux Ă une cliente "habituelle". Il m'a ensuite pris Ă partie en me disant que si je n'Ă©tais pas contente je pouvais partir en m'envoyant balader avec ses mains et ce, sans que je dise un mot. La journĂ©e s'annonçait pourtant belle... Nous ne l'avons pas laissĂ© nous la gĂącher et sommes vite partis dĂ©jeuner Ă la boulangerie Mains au coin suivant oĂč l'accueil du personnel nous a vite fait oublier cette malheureuse rencontre et mĂȘme si nous y avons trouvĂ© moins de choix, le goĂ»t y Ă©tait ! En effet, un des boulanger n'avait ni de masque, ni de gant pour faire les sandwichs. Et ne parlons mĂȘme pas du comportement du boulanger qui Ă©tait EXECRABLE. En effet, lorsque le boulanger n'avait pas son masque, je lui demandais pourquoi il n'avait pas son masque, il m'a rĂ©pondu mot pour mot : qu'il faisait ce qu'il veut, puis il m'a dit que si cela ne me plaisais pas, je pouvais partir, je lui ai rĂ©pondu que je ne pouvais partir car j'avais dĂ©ja payĂ© mon sandwich et de cela il m'a remboursĂ© en me balançant mon argent et il m'a dit de ne plus revenir.
