Very friendly service, excellent pizzas. The woman serving me had a natural, professional flair without being overpolite, it came right fr the heart! She is a good match with the Italian pizza baker. I read reviews about burned pizzas: that must be fr someone who usually goes to Pizza Hut. I've been so many times to Italy and I never had pizza like at Pulcinella. And I'm sensitive to gluten. The pizza from Pulcinella isn't heavy on the stomach. The taste is good. The pizza baker is an authentic, Italian man, singing and whistling while working. I can imagine that people looking for Italian design, won't enter but that is a pitty for them! I can recommend it: 6 stars...
Read moreMaybe it deserves a second chance but I'm not sure- I entered the quiet dining room with my 2 children and was pretty much ignored for 10 minutes, so I decided to politely ask to order. I was not offered to sit or stay etc. So, again, I asked may we sit down? After sitting ourselves down, no plates, cutlery or drinks were offered. So after waiting quietly, I got up to ask for these basic things. They believed I was ordering to go, although we asked to be seated. Service was hesitant, and mostly absent. We quickly ate and left. This place serves Roman style pizzas. It's not pretentious it just is. Ordered the siciliana and margherita and was not disappointed! It's honest, taste great and has soul!
