The Trattoria — Restaurant in Uccle - Ukkel

I really don't understand how this place is still open. Should have trusted the reviews - the place is just dodgy. We ordered pizza and pasta mix. Pasta mix was just pasta served with watered down cream. No flavour, no seasoning. Just a bit of cheese on top. In the middle of the plate they put lasagna, and it was truly inedible. It tasted horrible - very acidic, and overall just seemed to be off. We obviously couldn't eat it, it just seemed unsafe. How can a "restaurant" serve food that went off? And pasta with absolutely no taste. Even worse, they charge €20 for that!

Ok, we thought at least pizza is ok. Until we were halfway through it and found two hairs underneath the pizza. One very long, black curly hair. We complained to the waiter, and they said they wouldn't charge us for the pizza.

We also ordered wine, which wasn't even on the menu, so we couldn't check the price. That's a bit sketchy.

At the end, when we went to pay, we were charged over 60 euros, and we were told they only accept cash. We were surprised, because we were never warned about it. We were told the sign is on the door. Seriously? How about letting us know before we order food?

I've never ever eaten at a place that bad. I hope it'll close because it's just not safe to eat there, and they...

1 hour of waiting to make an order. We were ready with the decision, but the waitress brought us some board with suggestions and left us without coming back. After jumping on our chairs, the waiter noticed us. 1 hour of waiting for our food and of hoping that the dishes will be worth of that... but no. I am a big meat lover, but this meat I couldn't even swallow. It was burnt (with black leftovers of the grill), without spices...awful. It was not even filet mignon. Sauce archiduc without any spices or taste. Pizza is full of fat. 3 dishes of 4 were horrible.

Positive moment: the restaurant proposed not to pay for the meat; the waiter was nice and was trying to arrange...

Si je le pouvais j'aurais mis Zéro étoile. Ce restaurant fait partie de la selection du site de ventes aux enchères Vavabid. J'en parle car nous y sommes allés deux fois ma femme et moi-même à une semaine d'intervalle. Nous avions droit à un 3 services: entrée, plat, désert. La première fois nous avions le choix entre deux entrée, un certain nombre de pizza's ou de pâtes comme plat et une mousse au chocolat ou un tiramisu en désert. Je vous avoue que la première fois ça allait encore. La deuxième fois nous avons été super déçu. Nous n'avions plus le droit de prendre les linguini's vongole ce que j'avais choisi comme plat la première semaine et ma femme n'avais plus le droit de prendre les rigatoni's sauce 4 fromages (qui n'était pas non plus extra, je parle des pâtes aux 4 fromages). On nous a donc dis la deuxième semaine que ces deux plat ne faisaient plus partie du choix que nous avions avec le menu qu'ils proposent avec Vavabid et cela parce qu'ils n'avais pas eu le temps de changé la carte des menus. Voilà pour moi une bel arnaque car nous avions été bien reçu la première fois et le menu était pas extraordinaire mais ça allait encore. La deuxième fois, le vin du patron n'était pas bon du tout, la pâte de ma pizza au salami était toute pâteuse et les spaghetti's carbonara de ma femme étaient dégueulasse en plus il n'y avait plus de mousse au chocolat donc plus le choix entre la mousse et le tiramisu.
