Il Teatro — Restaurant in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert - Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe

Yersterday night I met a friend and we were looking just for a place to drink a cup of wine and update our conversation. We walked a lot and found no proper bar, so we decided to enter this place, afraid they would be mad if we just have a drink. But no, they were very welcoming, even offered us a Prosecco and some small Aperitivo from the house and let us stay very long . We were the only guests , still chatting on the first and only glass of wine, and they they were politely sitting and waiting for us to finish. That is what I call respect for the guest. Nice italian classy restaurant situated in a quite avenues with trees, they have a nice terasse. The dishes are really good. I would say even surprisingly good compare to what I was expecting. The pizzas, the lasagne and the pastas are excellent.

The only down point is the location and the athomsphere. It is a real quite neighborhood with mainly families and retired people. That makes it a real calm and peaceful restaurant (ex: we were the last by far yet it was only 22h30 when we left). If that is what you are looking for then the...

I wouldn't recommend this place as we were really disappointing after the dinner tonight. Initially, there is nothing or anyone Italian in the restaurant from the chef till the staff. Secondly, the quality of the ingredients was incredibly low, prepared with products probably purchased at the supermarket. There is no Italian flavour since the dishes were merely a failed attempt to attain a presumably so-called Italian cuisine.
