OM Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Belize City

The food is fantastic! We over ordered so that we'd have leftovers to take home and enjoy, but it was hard to stop eating! The gobi manchurian: tender cauliflower with the perfect amount of batter not the least bit oily with a great sauce. I've had it a little tangier, but never with such a perfect batter. Om Speciality Chicken: boneless chunks of tender breast meat will a delicious smokey grill flavour in a creamy sauce that i would happily order without any meat at all. The Butter Chicken appetiser is a dry dish (without gravy) but seasoned with butter, onions, chili, yumminess. My husband loves black pepper and got the pepper naan. It was wonderful and divinely fresh, but not the fluffy bread you are accustom to in US Indian restaurants. I loved the soft chew and oven toastyness. New place in Belize city which I wanted to try, before there was only one place. The place is a small 15ft x15 ft hall with one fridge with 4 tables The timings are different every day, so call before going We ordered Goat biryani and chilli chicken The biryani was missing main ingredient (kewada water) that flavor was missing. Biryani was more like colored rice with semi cooked lamb pieces which were chewy. The chilli chiken was ok but was also missing that Smokey flavour we are use to I will give 2 points for food All others who gave that high review are either does not know what indian food is all about or they haven’t try better...

We came here to celebrate my friends birthday she loves Indian food just like myself . We had lassi,butter chicken , naan ,samosas and tendori chicken , my God it was delicious and my friend loved it so much , THE ONLY THING THEY NEED TO WORK ON IS THE ECHO INSIDE WHILE TALKING TO EACH OTHER, they need to hang some curtains there so it absorbs the echo , but the food was amazing highly...
