ROACHESSTAFF CONFIRMED ROACHES SEEN EARLIER THAT DAY Do not eat here at all costs there are roaches in the seats of the restaurant. I have one crawl up my arm as i was eating. I brushed it off and was obviously upset while the staff just stared at me and didn’t say anything. We paid and left as soon as we left the restaurant the server ran out and asked us if we saw any bugs. I told him there was a roach and he CONFIRMED THAT HE SAW ROACHES IN THE RESTAURANT EARLIER THAT DAY! Not only did he not apologize he just offered a 25 dollar gift card for the “inconvenience”. Well yummmmmmy is what I’ll say about Koi. I’m still dreaming about it. Fish was so fresh and there was plenty of it. I highly recommend getting the boat of chef choice sushi. We saw it go by and wished we’d ordered it, everything looked beautiful. We ordered 2 rolls, the Inferno and the Maya (I think). Both very tasty with distinct and different flavors. Lots of fish, not too much rice. Their pickled ginger was so good I bought 2 jars to take home. The nigiri was spendy but really tasty so we didn’t scoff. Tucked away upstairs in this small corner of Placenca, is a little golden nugget of a restaurant called Koi Sushi. We wish we had found it sooner, and our two visits were both exceptionally tasty. But it's what a restaurant does when things go wrong that shows their muster. On our 2nd visit, the building's transformer, managing the air conditioning had blown and it was a Sunday night, so no immediate repair possible.
