Nestled in the heart of Placencia, Belize, the Cozy Corner is not just a place to stay; it's an experience that envelops you in warmth, comfort, and an unparalleled sense of hospitality. Our group, including my partner, had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem in May 2024, which left an indelible mark on all of us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the kind of customer service one dreams of. Ms. Jenny, the owner, with her infectious smile and genuine warmth, made us feel as though we were not just guests, but family. Her attention to detail and her unwavering commitment to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect set the tone for an unforgettable experience, making us feel truly valued and important. The staff at Cozy Corner, particularly Willson, Marleni, and Karen, went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Willson's knowledge of the local area and eagerness to share it with us added an extra layer of adventure to our trip. Karen's cheerful demeanor and ability to anticipate our needs before we even knew them made every day a joy. The level of welcome, kindness, and wonderful service we received was unparalleled. It's rare to find a place where every single staff member is dedicated to making your stay the best it can be, but Cozy Corner has achieved just that. Their dedication to service will leave you reassured and confident about your stay. In a town brimming with beautiful spots, Cozy Corner stands out as the best spot in Placencia. Its location, amenities, and the personal touch of its staff make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, Cozy Corner offers an experience tailored to you. In conclusion, Cozy Corner is more than just accommodation; it's a home away from home, a place where memories are made, and where the spirit of Belize is captured in every smile and interaction. It's a spot that no one should miss out on, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Ms. Jenny, Willson, Marlene, Karen, and the Cozy Corner team, for an unforgettable experience! Cant wait to visit again soon!

The staff made me feel like family. The location is as good as it gets. While there are fancier hotels outside of the village where you can be assured of some isolated, boring luxury, this is the place you'll wish you stayed when you drop in for a meal. If it is local knowledge and character you're after, this is the place for you. Located just steps from the ocean and just steps from the Placencia "boardwalk," Cozy Corner is welcoming, delicious, and located smack in the middle of everything. I'll be frank, it's not exactly the quietest location, but that is to be expected when you're downtown, even in a small town. The beach is fantastic, wide, and has ample palm trees for shade in the hot afternoons. Something very telling, and something I always watch for, is the presence of locals at the restaurant. There were easily as many locals as tourists who frequented the place, which is always a very good sign. The food was simple, delicious, and unassuming. Breakfast is wonderful, especially the stuffed jacks (pictured.) Fresh watermelon juice was a huge hit with my kiddo, and so was the friendly staff. Conch fritters were delicious and the conch ceviche was out of this world. The Belikins were always frosty cold. The rooms were clean with AC that worked well. They had some of the rustic charms that you get with a 40+ year old hotel, but I certainly didn't come to Placencia to sit around in my hotel room. WiFi is better on the beach side. On our second stay (we spent a few nights out on Ray Caye) we had a room on the town side with spottier WiFi. Since I needed to at least check in with work a few times a day, I asked if we could possibly move our room. There was no question asked, and we were immediately moved to the room we'd stayed in on the first stay. They also provided laundry service for a reasonable rate. I keep coming back to the staff. Every single one of them, including the owner, were people I'm glad to have met. I was sad to leave Cozy Corner after two 4 day stays, but rest assured that as soon as I can get back I will!

I so wish I knew the names of the two restaurant employees that served my family today, but I just needed to take a moment to express my gratitude for the generosity and kindness shown to us while we dropped in for a meal. The food was absolutely incredible (some of the best fried chicken I've ever had), but what really made this experience special was just how attentive and friendly the service was. What really capped off the evening was the employee who offered to crack open a coconut that my daughter found while playing in the sand next to our table. She had been wanting to try a fresh coconut this entire trip and she was shocked and overjoyed when he carved it up for her and presented it to her with a straw so she could drink the milk. It completely made her day, and definitely made a memory for me that I'll never forget. I'm so sorry I didn't get your name, but you really helped make that an unforgettable visit to your lovely restaurant and we will recommend to everyone that visits Placencia.

I was very disappointed in my experience at this business, usually when I visit, I have no issues with the establishment however in this visit we had higschool students from afar visit placencia. A good amount of students and staff were willing to order food there and actually did due to previous excellent service our staff had when visiting .The problem however came when we asked if students who really couldn't afford lunch and brought a little packed lunch could sit at the BEACH area where the manager objected. Due to not being familiar with the area we moved our students to the right of the area and spoke to them that if they didn't buy they couldn't stay around there however some kids used the restroom which really seemed to irritate the manager where she stated she "can't be managing 100 children with the bathroom" as schools and organizations I believe there should be some understanding and consideration for kids..she had no care to talk in a tone of anger right infront of the students. I'm just disappointed ultimately..we know business is business she could have charged a $1 to use the restroom as a human right..I recommend that they can consider youths because that's more important than money...
