This place has to be a secret gem in San Ignacio! I would have never expected this place to be one of the best places I have dined in San Ignacio. Its just a block behind Burns Avenue and from outside it might not seem appealing because I thought it was more of a bar than a restaurant. I stepped into the restaurant and it was totally empty so I wondered if the food could be any good. This friendly male waiter came up to me and presented the menu. The first thing he did was to recommend me the ribs which he told me was the signature. I didn't bother to read the menu and I took his advice. I wanted to look at the menu for desserts but I was telling myself I would only decide after the main course if it wasn't filling enough. I was quite impressed to see how well the dish was presented and I started to have high expectations of the dish. I can only say the dish did not disappoint and I really loved it! It was so tender and juicy, and it could just melt in the mouth. I was also impressed that the portion of the dish was pretty big. I was really full after the main course. The staff recommended me a chocolate dessert but I totally had no space for it. It was a good meal and I didn't find the food expensive. I recommended this place to some people during my day tour the next day, and they tried the ribs and said they loved it too. Highly recommended!

5 stars because of the Happy Cow Burger and the fries. Let me say the presentation was superb. I was told by David, the bartender, that it was really good. But I think he undersold it. This burger [Happy Cow] was everything I look for in a burger. It was cooked properly, the bun is made in-house, it is full of flavor from the meat to the bun, the meat is of proper size and proportion to the bun, and the topping compliment the meat AND the bun. Nothing overpowers anything else. It is truly a delicious burger. Now let's talk fries. The fries were PERFECT! Golden brown, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Now I know what you're thinking, "that was just that one visit you made". NOPE!! I went back the next day and the burger and fries were presented and prepared the same way!! Consistency is THE KEY to success! And the Happy Cow Burger and fries here are a true SUCCESS!! I also had the Ribeye Steak. It too was really good. The Shrimp Ceviche was good as well. The chips for the Shrimp Ceviche were fresh, hot, and delicious! I don't normally give places 5 stars, but when I do, believe me, it's worth it!

Best.Cuisine.In San Ignacio! 💥 I stand by that headline. Pros: Atmosphere feels like a true upscale bistro without being pretentious. Very robust wine selection - but we enjoyed the Sangria, which is offered as either white or red wine base. THE FOOD!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the baby back ribs, chicken paupiette, and the chocolate roulade for desert. The meat on the ribs was fall-off-the-bone, cooked to perfection with a superb sweet+smokey housemade bbq sauce. The chicken paupiette was moist, tender and flavorful. Desert: The chocolate roulade is a dark chocolate & ice cream lovers perfection. The cake was spongey and decadent, without being dry or too cold and was filled with a light mocha ice cream. - If you don't like it, I'll pay for shipping to eat it 😀. Presentation: all of the dishes are plated and served with an eye for detail you might find in a Michelin star restaurant. Price: Worth. Every. Penny Cons: - I can't eat here every week..

OMYG!!! first day of cross district travel during our countrywide lockdown and of course Crave was the only restaurant we wanted to support. Alejandro was absolutely fantastic in accomodating us. Because of the restrictions imposed on all the eating establishments, we needed to have take out. being our first "escape" from Corozal, we werent sure what was available for dinner selection. Alejandro gave us many options of which we chose baby back ribs, rib eye steak, and the hummus/sausage platter. since we were eating at Martha's guesthouse just up the street and not wanting to eat off of "to-go" containers, he specially presented his dishes for us on his fine china and actually delivered it right to our hotel. OMYG! it was decadent, including absolutely delicuous wine and a surprise piece of cheescake! he went above and beyond to make or first getaway unforgettable. Will recommend Crave house of flavour to everyone. 10+++++ my 3rd visit and have always brought new guests with us to enjoy...
