We were initially just looking for a quick authentic bite to eat and ordered the salbutes. They were the best we had on the island! We realized that we’d stumbled upon a local gem so we ordered some more dishes to share: chicken empanadas, garnaches, and chicken with beans and fry jacks. We would 100% order everything again. My wife got horchata and also enjoyed it.

They had a really good mix of pickled cabbage and onion that went on a lot of their dishes. Do yourself a favor and use it liberally. It’s really tasty and adds a nice texture...

Stopped in here for lunch today and I can’t say enough about how good the place is. She had the special of the day, a traditional soup with chicken and potatoes, and I had stewed chicken with beans and rice, and a side of coconut rice and tortillas. The food was absolutely amazing! Service was exceptionally fast, food came only three minutes after ordering. Both meals, with sides, and a Coke and a bottle of water for only $27 BZD. If this weren’t my last day, here, I would come back again...
