Pirate Pizza — Restaurant in San Pedro Town

Freshly-baked pizza which takes about 25 mins from scratch. They do sell individual slices but availability varies. When we arrived around 6 PM we were told there was only pepperoni available by the slice and that even that pizza was currently being cooked and would be about another 7 mins. So we ordered a customized pizza and walked around the nearby shops and came back 20 mins later. By that point that pizza we had ordered was ready, piping hot and really delicious. It was a bit like a pizza hut pizza from the 90s. But I was slightly annoyed to find that the pizza that was by this point being sold by the slice was in fact a plain cheese pizza. What a refreshing change from the 'normal' pizza that we where used to back home in Canada.

We had the garlic bread which is a 12" pizza smothered in cheese and garlic with dipping sauce. That was almost a meal in itself.

Ordered a large supreme pizza that easily fed the whole gang with a couple of slices left over for lunch tomorrow. Pizza was a deep dish style and we made use of the cutlery provided as the pizza was close to an inch thick and cooked to perfection. Really a taste sensation when it comes to pizza. I am normally not a deep dish fan but this was a well made pizza.

I’ve had a lot of pizza, but this is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I could eat at this place pretty much every night!! Since my stay in San Pedro I’ve had the white pizza multiple times and each time it’s truly perfection. The owner is from Montreal and he and his wife are lovely people...and true artists of the pie. If you are in San Pedro you have to treat yourself to a Pirate...
