The chef and owner was super nice and sweet, while I ate we chatted a lot about the city and her experience living in Hopkins. I was hoping to get hudut but she only makes it certain days of the week. I did try the mashed plantains cooked in a different way, it is definitely a different taste and texture that I'm not familiar with. I ordered a dish but she also gave me some pickled spicy onions, so so so good, and spicy. Read moreI don’t know that Gloria was counting on serving anyone when we showed up…but she graciously welcomed us and made a place for us, and then we had some of the best fish we’ve had in Belize. It was such an interesting experience and so good! Our brief interactions with her left me feeling like a good mom hug.
