Zombala 2 Restaurant — Restaurant in Thimphu District

The food are tasty and they got varieties in there menu. They only need to change there order writing booklet because it’s confusing like in the first place they should have SL but it’s QTY so it’s kinda confusing. I thought it’s the SL and was writing it serially like 1,2,3,4.... but turned out to be the QTY. So with that I got 2 and 3 items. So people need to be careful about that and some staffs they don’t listen to your order properly and at the end we get different order. The dumplings are the best known thing about this place. However, the price is always on the rise, and the service can be disappointing at times. I remember waiting for more than half an hour to be served after I placed the order for two plates of dumplings. They brought just one and asked us to wait which we did. Later, I saw those who came after us served and when I requested for mine, they said I need to wait again. We just stood up, paid for one plate and left. A lovely hole-in-the-wall place with great local food - the same style as Zombala (the original) but with a broader menu. The momos and chili fries are excellent- some of the best in town. (Although many debate where to find the very best Momos.) Lighting inside is softer than many places (no harsh florescent) and the staff is warm and gracious.
