Visited AMA Restaurant for lunch after hearing several glowing recommendations, and it certainly lived up to some of the expectations. The place was quite busy, which was a good sign, and we were fortunate to get a table without much wait.
Service was quick and the food arrived promptly. Everything appeared fresh and well-prepared. A particular standout was the crispy potatoes — served hot and full of flavor. We ordered a range of items including beef momo, chicken fried rice, chicken Schezwan, beef thukpa, and beef bathup. Each dish had its own appeal and was quite satisfying in terms of taste and portion.
However, while the food left a positive impression, the service experience could use some improvement. The staff appeared disengaged, with little to no interaction or warmth from both the server and the cashier.

The dishes that we ordered had very less salt, and the quantity of the dishes for Nu.250/- was very less. The pork curry was as good as boiled meat. The shakes were 70% water.
And the billing lady was uncourteous who said they'll have to add 20% tax if they had to write the bill.
