This is the best vegan bakery in Santa Cruz! It is tucked away from the road in a cute little building. The staff are so helpful and had amazing English, which was useful for us. There are so many beautiful cakes to choose from - red velvet, chocolate, lemon and blueberry, caramel and coconut - as well as cheesecakes - fruit, lemon pie, and Oreo - a delicious brownie and cookies! It is a must visit if you're in the lovely area of the city. Highly recommend the brownie, chocolate cake and lemon cake!

Coconela is by far the best vegan café in Bolivia, we come here every time when we are in Santa Cruz. It's the best option for vegan breakfast, snacks, cake and coffee in Santa Cruz. Even if you are not vegan you should definitely try out this place for its variety of yummy cakes. The cappuccino is just awsome and I love the vegan tiramisu. The owners are really amazing people and their service is great.

Nice selection of (vegan) breakfast and pastry options. We opted for two bagels, fruit salad and a stuffed croissant. Everything was very delicious and well prepared. However overall some things could be improved, e.g. bread was a bit firm / dry, some fruit was partly overripe and mushy, cutlery and dishes could have been cleaner.

I wish I could give Coconela 100 stars, we have been here twice in 3 days and ordered the same thing both times because it was just SO good. The food is super delicious and filling we had the seitan bagel and the americano breakfast. The dulce de leche croissant is absolutely INCREDIBLE and all the other sweet treats look amazing too. Can't believe that it's all plant based, we can't wait to...
