La Gaira - Equipetrol — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

The Paisa burger looks gorgeous. Unfortunately it is really soft, soggy, and tasteless. The bacon looks like it should be great, but it isn't. They ran my credit card for 10bs extra on top of what I already tipped. I had a weird experience where I asked the waitress for the wifi password and she took my phone (I thought she was going to enter in the password) and carried it to a guy behind the counter where he had my phone for a few minutes. Made me uncomfortable. The fries are nice and the craft beer wasn't bad. They even have ranch dressing on the table, which is very rare in Bolivia. Also the restaurant is well laid out and decorated. The experience was almost perfect, the location is ideal and really fancy. The staff really friendly (at times too busy). The hamburger is just delicious, mainly because of the meat / hamburger construction. The sauces are limited (I mean the common ones). And the fries are really good (you need to order separately). If you are in town is a must...Al least for me la Gaira is part of my top 3 hamburger...

Even though this place gets a little busy, the food and drink come out moderately quickly.
